The International Forum on Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics (IFASD) is the most important event for engineers and researchers working in the fields of aeroelasticity and structural dynamics, since 1981. The Forum takes place biennially:

Following the success of the IFASD 2019 held in Savanah, Georgia, USA, the 2021 forum was planned to be held in Madrid, Spain, but it was postponed to 2022 due to the world COVID pandemic situation in 2021.

 
IFASD 2022 is intended to give a comprehensive snapshot of the current status of research activities and industrial practice in the fields of Aerospace Vehicle Aeroelasticity and Structural Dynamics, Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization, and Active and Adaptive Structures. It will provide an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers from industry, research centers and universities to exchange knowledge and findings of current studies, and to discuss directions for future research. Contributions are sought covering all technical areas relating to aeroelasticity and structural dynamics.
 
The Organizing Committee invites authors to submit abstracts of original works for presentation at the conference on the areas outlined in the following Forum topics:

COVID-2019 caveat
