YUFE Activity - Talk Show organized by UC3M

    Audience: Open to all

Abstract: After a short introduction and scan who is partaking, this interactive workshop starts with a presentation introducing some of the recent developments in organisations. The focus lies on the concept of industry 4.0 (digitalisation, agile work, psychological empowerment, digital divide, work-life-blending, etc.). The leading question is if, under even further delimited and subjectified work conditions, ethical and sustainable thinking still plays a role, or if they are neglected altogether. After a thought-stimulating input, small focus groups discuss in breakout-rooms. We hope to have groups for specific perspectives, such as: students, entrepreneurs and employers, professors and lecturers at universities, employees, staff counsel representatives, and perhaps specific experts such as solicitors and medical professionals. After a group phase with leading questions, main results from their discussion will be shared in the plenary, allowing participants to gain insights not only for their own perspective, but also from people in other roles and perspectives. With overall closing thoughts, this workshop will be concluded.
